The U.S. Department of Education (Department) is in the process of recruiting peer reviewers to evaluate grant
applications submitted for the fiscal year (FY) 2017 Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program and
the Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP).
Please note reviewer expectations for each program is listed under step 2.
Please review the reviewer recruitment letter for additional information regarding the peer review process and
complete the three step process below.
Step 1 of 3: Reader Recruitment
If you are interested in participating as a field reader for either the FY 2017 HSI or FY 2017 SIP grant
competition please complete the form below and the reviewer prerequisites to create a reader profile.
Please select any and all reviews you would be eligible to participate in. If you are unable to participate
and attend any of the listed reviews, please check "not available." Potential readers will only be selected
for one of the two reviews.
Please note that in-person paneling is required for the HSI session. Please do not select the HSI review if
