(FY) 2017 Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program and Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP)

The U.S. Department of Education (Department) is in the process of recruiting peer reviewers to evaluate grant applications submitted for the fiscal year (FY) 2017 Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI) Program and the Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP).

  • For HSI, the peer review will consist of a two-week hybrid approach (first week electronically at home) and the second week (mandatory travel) held in the Washington, D.C. area. For additional information on the HSI program, please go to https://www2.ed.gov/programs/idueshsi/index.html?src=rt.
  • For SIP, the peer review will take place over two weeks and be completed electronically from home (NO travel to Washington, D.C. is required). For additional information on the SIP program, please go to: https://www2.ed.gov/programs/iduestitle3a/index.html.

Please note that in-person paneling is required for the HSI session. Please do not select the HSI review if you are unable to travel to Washington, DC during the paneling week listed and stay for the duration of the in-person review.
